Shipping policy
We offer free Australia-wide postage, using Australia post, shipped from Barcaldine.
Local deliveries, around Barcaldine, will be made on the next business day after the order being placed. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the parcel will be left in a safe place at the recipient’s house.

Please ensure you have the correct address when shopping. Happy Hearts Hampers is not responsible for parcels being delivered to incorrect addresses. Please contact Australia Post if you believe your parcel has been delivered to the wrong address.
*NOTE:
Before finalising your purchase - please check details - billing address (the buyer) and delivery address (where it will be delivered) and name. The buyer is responsible for any fees of delivery failures or shipping costs - due to incorrect details given at the time of purchase.
Once the order is handed to Australia Post, Happy Hearts Hampers is not responsible for delivery times or delays of delivery. Tracking with Australia Post will be sent upon confirmation of order when dispatched, via email.
If for any reason, a hamper is returned to us: for example from the recipient not responding to arrange re-delivery/ the recipient not collecting their parcel from collection centre or post office/ the recipient is no longer at the address or unknown at that address/ the information for address is incorrect/ the delivery was not accepted/ not delivered from Australia post due to incorrect or missing information from the sender etc. then the buyer will be required to cover any costs to be re-sent.
A hamper while in transit cannot be redirected, it must be returned to us first then after correct details given by the buyer it will be sent to correct address. The delivery cost will be charged to the buyer.

Hampers are dispatched same day after 2pm (Mon. to Fri., on the day of the orders being received and processed (except for weekends - mail is sent Monday morning in that case). Closed public holidays so will be handed to Australia Post when they're opened after the pulic holiday.

*If any item that is listed for the hamper is out of stock - we will substitute that item with a product of the same or higher value.
DELIVERY TIMES
We understand how important it is for the hamper you order to be delivered to the recipient in a timely manner, Australia post - sometimes orders can arrive sooner than expected or are held up in transit due to unforeseen events, and delays within Australia Post. That is why we provide you with tracking information on every purchase, so that you know what is going on every step of the way.
Hampers sent via Australia Post will require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign for the gift, a notification card will be left and the gift will be returned to the nearest Australia Post outlet for collection by the recipient. If this happens, it is your responsibility to check the tracking and ensure the recipient is aware of the need to collect their hamper.
Your hamper is coming from Barcaldine, so please factor that in when calculating delivery times. We also advise ordering early during busy times such as Christmas and Mother’s Day for example, as Australia Pos take longer during these times. Gifts sent to country or rural areas may be carded for pickup from the nearest Australia Post outlet – this may also cause delays in your recipient receiving their gift.

HOSPITAL DELIVERIES
Due to each hospital having specific guidelines regarding delivering to staff or patients, and some hospitals unable to accept direct deliveries, also unknown times of patients being discharged; we DO NOT send to hospitals.
CHOCOLATE AND HEAT
During the warmer months, we use insulated bubble wrap etc. to try to protect chocolates from melting. In extreme heat, we will have to substitute chocolates within the hamper with other products that will withstand the heat, in which case we will email to ask the buyer if they want to swap the meltable products or receive a cancel on the order. If the buyer still wants chocolates on the hamper in extreme hot temperatures, we accept no responsibility for melted chocolates.
